CLEAN LABEL IMPROVER FOR DANISH PASTRIES LAUNCHED BY LIMAGRAIN CÉRÉALES INGRÉDIENTS

 

Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients (LCI) has developed a clean label improver specifically for Danish Pastries.

“Danish Pastries are well-known as the sweet and flaky pastries originating from Denmark and the Scandinavian countries,” says Patricia Panel-Dusséaux, Marketing Manager at LCI. “They have become popular worldwide, with their form varying from country to country and having a range of fillings such as cream, cinnamon or jam.

“With their thin and consistent flaky pastry, these products must be crispy and voluminous.  

“Hence, bolstered by our knowledge of different types of flour and their interactions with ingredients and processes, LCI has developed a Danish Pastry improver specifically for these products, called ‘Danish Pastry Amel’.
