Dafa offers customers in the flour, bread-making and pastry industries… the most innovative products… cereal ingredients, enzymatic preparations, improvers, correctors and bread premixes and mixes.

The strength of dafa is to understand the interactions between different components of the flour in the dough by incorporating the effect of industrial processes. In addition to improving the properties of dough and product texture, dafa ingredients can also act as flavour and colour enhancers and bring the natural and nutritional benefits of cereals taking into account the economic constraints of industry.

Once upon a time…
In the early 90s, Limagrain indicates its determination to reconnect with the wheat, its original plant. It lays the foundation of farming sectors in which the value added of plant breeding is the good adaptation of plants to their final use, whether industrial or food.

In this context, the Group acquired a 35% stake in Dafa which distributes ingredients and additives for milling and bakery industries and bought the European wheat expert, Nickerson at the oil company Shell... In 1998, Nickerson and Dafa merges. In 2002, Limagrain includes all activities "ingredients" on the same geographical area and in the same company Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients (LCI). Dafa is now a trademark of LCI.
