LIMAGRAIN CÉRÉALES INGRÉDIENTS GAINS BRC (BRITISH RETAIL CONSORTIUM) CERTIFICATE 'GRADE A' FOR BOTH ITS CORN PROCESSING FACTORIES

Limagrain Céréales Ingrédients (LCI) has been awarded its second BRC (British Retail Consortium) Certificate 'Grade A', this time for its MCT corn processing factory in Ennezat, France.

“This award means that both our sites satisfy the requirements of this international food safety standard as our factory specialising in the production of Westhove brand masa flour and functional flour–  also in France - achieved the same Grade A award in 2008,” says Patricia Panel-Dusséaux, Marketing Manager for Snack Products at LCI.

The BRC certification covers the product design, production and shipping of LCI’s corn-based products: flaking grits, semolina, flour and fibre - all within the BRC ‘dried foods and ingredients’ product category.

“In an increasingly challenging economic climate, LCI has continued to prioritise the quality of its products through the management of its traceable production process and its Quality Management System and this award underlines our commitment,” comments Christine Gracieux, the company’s Quality Manager at the Ennezat facility.
